2017 Spring Season Overview & Conference Assignments

Ohio  –  98 students from 8 Ohio high school teams are participating in the Ohio State High School Clay Target League’s (OHSHSCTL) inaugural 2017 spring trap shooting season, which began April 2nd.

“We are very pleased to offer clay target shooting as an activity for Ohio high school athletes,” said Jim Sable, Executive Director of the OHSHSCTL, “such high participation in the first year shows the demand for alternative high school activities related to Ohio’s longstanding outdoor traditions.”

Upon completion of the Spring League, all student athletes are invited to participate in individual and team competitions at the 2017 State Tournament. The event is scheduled for June 3rd at the Blackwing Shooting Center in Delaware, OH

This year, the 8 competing teams have been placed into one conference.
